How can you remove an event or correct one

    1. Larry Czarnik says:

      Shane,
Hover your mouse over the event and it displays a pencil and a trashcan as well as the text in the note. Click pencil to edit and trashcan to delete.

  2. This morning I saw that the calendar feature was added to our website, and I started adding birthdays to the April calendar. Had to step away from the computer for a few minutes and when I came back, ALL the information for various birthdays were listed on the month of April ! I checked the month of May and March to see if they too had info listed on those months and they did.
Later in the day, I got back onto Spokt.com and all the information on the calendar was GONE ? What’s happened to all the information, and I’m assuming when it was added onto our calendar, it’s the balance of information that Spokt.com “exported” from the MyFamily.com site back in August of last year?
When will this important information show up again in our calendar?

    1. Dan says:

      Hi Joey,

You may want to contact support: http://spokt.com/contact. They’ll be able to look into your specific issues.

  3. John says:

Thanks, looks good. I would suggest Spokt automatically populate US holidays, and add them as a category that users can toggle on or off.

    1. Katie says:

Hi John! That is an interesting suggestion, but we decided not to automatically populate US holidays, because we have users from all over the globe. Feel free to add in holidays as you would like!

    2. Larry Czarnik says:

As someone from Australia, thanks for not populating US holidays automatically. However, did ask about automatically populating from the MyFamily calendar (did that info get saved?)
      Thanks,

  4. Deanna Scott says:

Glad the calendar is here but we’d like to post things such as children’s birthdays and can’t do it without using our own names which is not my birthday. For example, my son’s birthday is May 11th but it says Deanna’s birthday instead.

    1. Dan says:

      Hi Deanna,

At the bottom of the member list (when adding birthdays and anniversaries), you’ll see the option to click, “Other.” Choose that, and you can type in any name. This will allow you to add anniversaries and birthdays for people who are not hub members.

  5. Polly says:

Unable to post non-member family birthdays. Shows up as “apostrophe s bd”. No name. Also can’t edit or delete using an iPad. Any solutions? Anyone else finding ipad a problem? Would like to see a no birth year option.

    1. Dan says:

      Hi Polly,

At the bottom of the member list (when adding birthdays and anniversaries), you’ll see the option to click, “Other.” Choose that, and you can type in any name. This will allow you to add anniversaries and birthdays for people who are not hub members. If this is not working for you please contact support: http://spokt.com/contact

  6. Bob Martin says:

Was it intended that any member can edit or even delete any other member’s entry into the calendar?

    1. Katie says:

Hi Bob! We intended for our calendar to be very open, so we allow everyone to post to it.

  7. Eve wilms says:

Thanks for developing the calendar!! Love this and also the fact that I can add all the birthdays of family members plus the ones who don’t have email addresses. Great feature!!

  8. To whom it may concern:

I posted information on the calendar and was not able to locate my family calendar.

Please advise as soon as possible. Where is the calendar located on the main hub page?

Thank you for your prompt respond to my request.

  9. Duffy Jensen says:

On several occasions the calendar depicts the date on the wrong day of the week when displayed on Hub Home. The present calendar shows today Monday, April 13, 2015 as Wednesday, April 13, 2015.

  10. I am unable to print the calendar. Is it possible to print the calendar?

    Thanks.
    Ellen

    1. Katie says:

Hi Ellen! Unfortunately, we do not have a print option right now. Thanks for your suggestion; I have passed your note along to the Product Team. 🙂

    2. Dan says:

      Hi Ellen,
Our team spent some time last week making calendar printing really cool. Go ahead and print your calendar now “File -> Print”!

    3. P Kelly says:

Dan; where do we find the “file” option?

  11. Duffy Jensen says:

Today is TUESDAY, April 14, 2015. The calendar on our Hub Home is showing THURSDAY, April 14, 2015.

  12. Duffy Jensen says:

Today is Wednesday, April 15, 2015, calendar on Hub Home depicts today as Friday, April 15, 2015.
