iPad Give-away Shut Down?

We got this perplexing email from facebook today:

Hello,

The page “Become a Fan to win an Apple iPad (from spokt.com)” has been removed because it violated our Terms of Use. A Facebook Page is a distinct presence used solely for business or promotional purposes. Among other things, Pages that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. We also take down Pages that attack an individual or group, or that are set up by an unauthorized individual. If your Page was removed for any of the above reasons, it will not be reinstated. Continued misuse of Facebook’s features could result in your account being disabled.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can visit the Terms applicable to Facebook Pages at http://www.facebook.com/terms_pages.php.

The Facebook Team

I have read the terms they reference and cannot understand why they removed our page. We’ll see what we can do to restore the page but until then it seems our contest won’t continue.

That is weird. I wonder what their real reason was.

On a separate note when is Spokt going to be a stable non-beta website? I want to link to it in an article on our site, but I usually steer clear of beta releases.

My former site has come thru the Export Complete state and is in the Process Data stage. The site involved in the transfer is Kentucky Families Site.
The Entity in question is My Daily Devotionals. This takes up the most of the room and I do not wish it to be transferred. Can this single entity be left out of the transfer?

      John,

I don’t believe this can be left out, but you’ll have the chance to search for these items and remove them if you would like once they’re imported into your Hub.
